The Race Is On! The weather was nice, the kids had fun and the 13th annual Oregon Coast Soap Box Derby and Autofest was a success! Check out our PHOTO GALLERIES as we continue to post updates on today's action check back for a complete photo gallery and race results!
	The Oregon Coast Soap Box Derby Association ran its 13th annual race on Sunday, June 16th - Father's Day. The Race attracted families and race fans from all over Lincoln City and beyond - whether or not they knew any racers or organizers. The third annual Autofest car show was held on race day along with the traditional race day events. The Autofest thrilled crowds of Derby fans - and introduced many classic and collector car enthusiasts to the exciting world of Derby racing!
On Display were street rods, muscle cars, motorcycles, trucks, funny cars, junior dragsters, and many more! Also a group representing "Team Safety" were on hand with riveting display designed to promote safety in driving of all sorts. All proceeds will benefited the Soap Box Derby association to help ensure this year's race is followed by a 14th, 15th, and more annual races.
